This is an exciting time to join our Global Payroll Business Support Team as we embark on a transformation journey to further enable the payroll organization to focus on their critical priorities and execute with excellence and accountability.

A Day in The Life

Within the role of Analytics Associate Specialist Global Payroll, you will have the opportunity to work with members of our various regional and global payroll teams, as well as to cooperate with other functions within Medtronic (ONE Voice in HR) and our trusted external Payroll partners.

  • Gathers and analyzes, data, processes and systems and creates insights to enable informed decision making.

  • Present insights in a clear, concise and impactful way

  • Maintain and monitor global Payroll KPI’s, analytics and progress reports.

  • Identify improvements for process efficiency, data quality or better use of technology.

  • Provide transactional support, reporting requirements and administrative tasks such as

  • Load payroll (relevant) data to Workday,

  • Monitor invoices, cost allocation and recharging,

  • Create or track purchase orders.

  • Participates in Medtronic programs or specific projects to achieve desired results.

  • May respond to and resolve inquiries from our payroll colleagues or partners.

  • May work with system programmers to achieve solutions or administer company payroll system with outside service provider.

  • Handle information and data with accuracy, care, sensitivity and with utmost confidentiality.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business administration, IT or any other relevant discipline

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience

Your Profile

  • Experience in using these tools will be helpful: ServiceNow, Workday

  • Knowledge of HR processes / Data & Analytics;

  • Experience with Excel (Power Query) and/or Business Intelligence tools, preferably PowerBI;

  • Able to communicate in English (written and spoken)

  • Continuous improvement and Pro-active mindset

  • Developed analytical and presentation skills;

  • Tech savviness and detail oriented;

  • Knowledge of the link between data and processes;
