Medtronic Senior Advanced Analytics Analyst in Prague, Czech Republic

For this role, you are required to work from Prague office 2 days a week, the rest is work from home. Medtronic does not cover the cost of relocation to Prague, Czech Republic.

A Day in the Life

You will be responsible for:

• Ensuring the on-time delivery of quality outputs by managing requirements gathering correctly and aligning with stakeholders on acceptance criteria.

• Engaging and supporting key stakeholders by discussing recognized patterns, correlations, as well as opportunities and risks.

• Ensuring quality data structures for the analysis of data and use of proper statistical analyses.

• Developing interactive visualizations and dashboards that provide actionable insights.

• Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance performance of operations, by identifying optimization measures derived from quantitative analyses.

• Validating data for correctness and completeness and report any discrepancies to the specialist departments.

• Recognizing opportunities for process automation and design the solution.

Must Haves

• Background in Collection or Cash application.

• At least 3 years of Business Intelligence (BI), analytics, statistics and/or reporting experience.

• Demonstrated working effectively in cross-functional project teams to identify business requirements and translate data into actionable insights.

• Strong technical background and current on modern BI and reporting technologies (ex. Power BI, Tableau), solid experience with data visualizations and tools, SAP expert knowledge.

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially MS Excel and Power BI.

• Knowledge of the following tools: VBA (Visual Basic for Applications), Python, Business Objects, Power Automate and / or Power Apps, SQL (Structured query language).

• Structured and accurate mode of operation, creativity and "out-of-the-box” thinking, can manage multiple complex initiative simultaneously.

• Strong analytical problem-solving mindset, attention to detail and zero waste attitude, comfortable when working with large data sets.

• Understands customer needs and what is most beneficial to them, robust interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work independently under general direction, quick learner with can-do attitude with a positive mindset orientated towards result.

• Excellent team player, who demonstrates a sense of urgency and willingness to take on new tasks and sets ambitious standards, able to embrace change fast and support others through change, ability to work under pressure and in fast-paced environment.

Nice to Haves

• Background in Shared Service Center is a very strong advantage

• FSCM (Financial Supply Chain Management) knowledge is a strong advantage

• Educated to a degree level in Finance/Economics/Statistics/Business Administration or related field
