A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Partner with leaders to develop and implement a comprehensive site modernization and beautification plan for Northridge campus. This plan should achieve and maintain 5S standards at our facility and create a safe and inviting work environment for our employees.

  • Align leaders and stakeholders around vision, priorities, trade-offs, and funding for site improvement projects.

  • Partner closely with the Facilities Center of Expertise to implement site modernization and beautification plan .

  • Partner with senior leaders and Facilities to align on the coordination of building space allocation and layout, communication services and facilities remodeling.

  • Serve as single point of contact between senior leaders and Facilities for site improvement planning and issue resolution.

  • Use diplomacy and advanced communication skills to resolve problems, develop, evaluate, enhance, and/or implement quality improvement practices, processes and/or policies to promote a culture of diversity, safety and environmental consciousness.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree with 7+ years Facilities Management or other relevant experience

OR

Masters degree with 5+ years Facilities Management or other relevant experience

Nice to Have

  • Program Management Skills: Critical Thinking, Project Management, Management of Personnel Resources, Collaboration and Productivity Software.

  • Lean Certification

  • Effective Communication Skills and presentation skills.

  • Diplomatic and able to drive decisions and navigate conflicting priorities

The provided base salary range is used nationally (except in certain CA locations). The rate offered is compliant with federal/local regulations and may vary by experience, certification/education, market conditions, location, etc.
