A Day in the Life
Medtronic is intensely focused on creating a workplace environment which reflects our standing as the world’s top medical device company. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the patients we serve and an unrelenting desire to improve our business. You will work on the 2 nd shift, 5 days a week Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Leads production teamwork process, equipment testing, manufacturing, disassembly, and reassembly as assigned by supervisor.
Prioritizes use of operators according to build schedule.
Communicates process issues and provides status updates to team supervisor.
Coaches operators/assemblers on production and problem-solving skills, performing technical review and machinery setup/breakdown as needed.
Ensures Medtronic company quality and safety standards are upheld.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of experience and may require vocational or technical education or certification in addition to prior work experience.
Nice to Have
Prior experience providing supervision or mentorship to lower-level production staff.
Excellent communication skills and a team player.
Experienced in training and onboarding. Ability to provide process improvement recommendations to supervisors.
Problem-solving skills
Excellent troubleshooting skills
