Medtronic Principal Financial Analyst in Nanakramguda, India

Performs and analyzes financial modeling, trends, business case / due diligence, variance analysis, forecasting, financial planning and expense comparisons by analysis of profit and loss statements and/or income statements.

Prepares reports of findings and recommendations, compiles and consolidates financial plans and provides insights to management.

This position will enable growth by providing key business insights, operating metrics, financial metrics, management reporting to leadership team, ensure strict adherence to finance policies and procedures and timely and accurate preparation of financial statements.

A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

· Performs and analyzes complex financial modeling, economic research, trends and studies subjects such as rates of return, depreciation, working capital, cash flow, investments, and cost against budget, variance analysis, forecasting, financial planning and expense comparisons.

· Prepares reports of findings and recommendations, compiles and consolidates financial plans and provides insights to management.

· Develops, maintains, and establishes operational specifications for financial information systems considering such things as information flow, volume, ad hoc reporting, and analysis.

· Monitor business performance by unit, division or group.

· May provide analysis on business development for the Center.

· Identifies opportunities for process improvement and policy development and engages in the design.

SPECIALIST CAREER STREAM : Typically an individual contributor with responsibility in a professional discipline or specialty. Delivers and/or manages projects assigned and works with other stakeholders to achieve desired results. May act as a mentor to fellow colleagues.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

• 8-10 years of finance and accounting experience with progressive responsibility, especially with exposure to international operations and R&D preferably

• Medical devices/ Pharma/Service industry experience is preferred

• Strong, professional communication and writing skills

• Strong knowledge of SAP, Hyperion systems and various data flows

• IFRS and Ind AS awareness preferred

Education : CA/MBA Finance from Tier I / II Business Schools
