As the Capability Owner for the Sales Enablement Systems (SES) Global Center of Excellence, you will manage and execute projects, collaborate with stakeholders worldwide, and ensure successful Salesforce implementations. This role requires robust experience with Salesforce, along with the ability to effectively work with cross-functional teams and manage projects from start to finish.

A Day in the Life

The Commercial Learning & Development Effectiveness role will focus on collecting training data to analyze and evaluate training impact. This professional will assess the effectiveness of training programs, measure outcomes, and evaluate their alignment with organizational goals. Their tasks include:

Project Management:

⦁ L&D professionals need to excel in planning, organizing, and socializing the training effectiveness strategy across deployment teams.

⦁ Maintain training database including attendance by business, course, and learner type.

Data-Driven Decision Making and Analysis:

⦁ Strong analytical skills are essential.

⦁ Proficiency in data analysis tools and understanding learning evaluation models are valuable.

Communication:

⦁ Effective communication ensures that insights are positioned and conveyed clearly to stakeholders.

⦁ L&D analysts must share findings and promote recommendations via quarterly report automation.

Strategic and Critical Thinking:

⦁ Analyze training needs strategically and align them with organizational goals.

⦁ Critical thinking skills to evaluate program effectiveness. Outcome-focused evaluation strategies are incorporated during program design to drive business results.

Measuring Effectiveness:

⦁ Evaluate the impact of training programs to determine their efficacy in closing skills gaps and achieving desired business objectives.

⦁ Identify enablers of success and barriers hindering progress during the evaluation process.

Optimizing Resource Allocation:

⦁ By assessing training programs against desired outcomes, this will help the organization allocate resources effectively.

⦁ Identify which programs yield the most impact and highest return on investment (ROI) in partnership with the commercial data and analytics team.

Evaluation Levels:

Evaluate training outcomes at various levels:

i. Reactions: Assessing learners’ feedback and satisfaction.

ii. Learning: Measuring knowledge acquisition and skill development.

iii. Behavior Change: Observing changes in behavior or performance.

iv. Business Impact: Evaluating the effect on key performance indicators (KPIs).

v. ROI: Calculating the return on investment.

vi. NPS: How likely an attendee would recommend a training program to a colleague.

In summary, the L&D effectiveness role is crucial in ensuring that training initiatives are effective, efficient, and aligned with organizational objectives. They use data and evaluation methods to drive continuous improvement in employee learning and development.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Educational Technology, or a related field.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to support and train diverse teams.

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.

Innovative and proactive problem-solving mindset.

Familiarity with learning and development strategies and measuring training effectiveness.
