A Day in The Life

As a Software Engineer II, you will participate in the software development efforts in the Software Center of Excellence of the Surgical Robotics Organization. You will work in a fast-paced environment with a group of software engineers, collaborating with cross functional teams to complete design, code implementation, unit test, and software and system verification and validation.

M ust Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 0 years of relevant experience.

Nice to Have

  • Experience developing software in a Linux environment.

  • Good Knowledge of computer science, including how operating systems and compilation works.

  • Comfortable with common development tools: build automation (cmake preferred), code coverage, unit testing, static analysis, debugging, source control, etc.

  • Experience developing software in C/C++ with object-oriented programming skills.

  • Strong Experience with developing software with python, shell scripting

  • Experience designing software using visual modeling languages (UML, SysML)

  • Knowledge of surgical robotics

  • Fluency in English

  • Ability to travel up to 25% Experience with

The provided base salary range is used nationally (except in certain CA locations). The rate offered is compliant with federal/local regulations and may vary by experience, certification/education, market conditions, location, etc.
