Medtronic Sales Representative II - EMID - Bangalore in Bangalore, India

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB (summary):

Apprentice will play a critical role in achieving implants by providing case support in operation theatres and providing in-service to HCPs. Apprentice can expect to gain broad knowledge of Medtronic's therapies, products and application functions and a detailed understanding of the role these functions play in meeting company objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Handle clinical application and technical support for capital and consumables products.

  • Self-motivated individual who actively seeks to enhance his/her knowledge & skills.

  • Conduct scheduled training of hospital staff or surgeons on high end equipment’s on all possible applications.

  • Support during live surgeries in Operation Theaters on regular basis and as per requirements.

  • Take active part in workshops and conferences conducted in the region.

  • Conduct pre-sale demos and post- sales application support as per the requirement. Handle logistics required for the same.

  • Ensure the products are utilized to maximum by the end user.

  • Help sales team with technical/ clinical discussion and provide related technical or clinical material whenever required.

  • Travel extensively within the region and at short notice period. Travel more than 50%

  • Ability to work independently while at the same time playing an active team role.

  • Support sales team to achieve their targets.

  • Periodic documentation and reporting of all activities including field coverage, training, and demos.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIREMENTS PREFERENCES

· Biomedical Engineering, Bachelor’s in Pharmacy

· 60% aggregate score without any backlog

· Apprentice position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate effectively with key stakeholders (Colleagues, supervisors, healthcare practitioners).
