A Day in the Life
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Design and develop interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports using Tableau and Power BI.
Work closely with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements, and translate them into effective visualizations.
Perform data analysis and profiling to ensure data quality and integrity.
Implement security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.
Optimize the performance of reports and dashboards, including tuning queries and designing efficient data models.
Create different views and perspectives of data to support various business needs and user requirements.
Collaborate with data engineers and other team members to ensure seamless integration of visualizations with data sources.
Both an individual and a good team player.
Willing to work in support environment too.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's / Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field;
9+ years of experience in data visualization using Tableau and/or Power BI.
Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL/ELT processes.
Hands-on experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience in handling security requirements for data visualization solutions.
Proven track record of performance tuning reports and optimizing query performance.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
